Haifa Film Festival, Israel 1987

The peeling mosaic wall of the Haifa Auditorium made the festival's comity uneasy, So they called Tav to do something about it. The wall is a challenging huge format in the midst of the city scene. We chose to emphasize the falling mosaic pattern by enlarging it on an independent added layer over it. Thus harnessing it to become a part of the work instead of hiding the disgrace.
The facade was divided into Sixteen fields that formed a checkerwork and were inlayed by images from the world of cinema.
