This frame hanging in the air, depicting the view from Panorama street to the Haifa Bay, a typical tourist  postcard image of Haifa coming to live, was one of a series of sixteen frames hanging in various locations in town, each focusing attention to some unique aspect of the urban scenery, easily overlooked by us, residents or guests. in the routine of reaching from one peak to another, do we notice the way we pass? how often do we go out of the way?
This work was commissioned by the Haifa Museum. which, at the time, held an exhibition at its premises, "Haifa, portrait of a city". The curators, Gabriel Talmor and Ilana Teicher were seeking a way to promote the exhibition and somehow extend it outside.
As we were hanging the frames, and during the months they were in the air, many people never saw in it anything other than empty frames, asking us: "Very nice, but what's going to be inside it?"
